Saman (novel)

[edit]

Ayu Utami in 2009

  • ALT1:... that when the sexually-explicit Saman was first published, people thought a man had written it for its author Ayu Utami (pictured)?
  • ALT2:... that Saman, written by Ayu Utami (pictured), raised controversy for using terms like "rape me" and "penis"?
  • ALT3:... that although Saman was Ayu Utami's debut, her mother would not read it to her father as it was too sexually explicit?

  • Everything looks good to go. Prefer ALT3. While some of the article's sources are not available online from my location, the sources I could access verify all the hook claims. --Allen3 talk 18:50, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
