Sarah Bavly

[edit]
  • ... that upon arriving in Jerusalem to open a nutrition department in a recently-built health center, Sarah Bavly was forced to hide in the building for a week due to the outbreak of the 1929 Palestine riots? Source: "Returning to Palestine in August 1929 ... she was also expected to establish a Nutrition Department at the newly-erected Nathan Straus Health Center in Jerusalem. However, before she had time to settle in and order the necessary equipment, the Arab riots broke out and she and other staff members were cooped up in the building for a week, unable to go out into the streets, where shooting and bomb-throwing were rife." ALT1: ... that when Sarah Bavly arrived in Jerusalem to open a nutrition department in a recently-built health center, she was forced to hide in the building for a week due to the outbreak of the 1929 Palestine riots? Please fix the harv warning message. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:39, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks, Gerda, your alt is fine. I added a link to Jerusalem. What harv warning message are you referring to? Yoninah (talk) 00:16, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
  • I don't link to capitals of modern countries, but your choice. I see a warning for ref #2: "Harv warning: There is no link pointing to this citation. The anchor is named CITEREFBavly1943." --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:23, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Perhaps the Google Books source doesn't work in your country. I click on footnote 2, it goes to the book source at the bottom, and I click on the book and the book comes up. Yoninah (talk) 14:54, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
That's all fine, for me, too, but it says no link to it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:05, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
