Schwaben Creek

[edit]
  • ... that nearly 11,000,000 pounds (5,000,000 kg) of sediment flow through Schwaben Creek per year?
  • ALT 1: ... that blanket chests, chests of drawers, and cupboards made in the Schwaben Creek valley in the early 1800s have been called "the most exuberant and unique paint-decorated furniture"?

Moved to mainspace by King jakob c 2 (talk). Self nominated at 16:52, 14 November 2013 (UTC).

  • Article is just within the five day limit of nominations (created 9 November, nominated 14), but it was only moved into mainspace on 14 so that's a non-issue. Long enough at easily over 5,000 characters of prose. Hook is interesting, and cited in the article to the Encyclopedia of American Folk Art, which is available at Google Books. The page cited contains both the quotation and expands on the facts stated in the article. All good. One minor quibble - I would personally reword one of the mentions of the word "furniture" to avoid repetition. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:23, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
I fixed one formatting issue (two quote characters instead of one), now it's good to be queued with ALT1. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:11, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
