Schwinger limit[edit]

Feynman diagram of photon–photon scattering

  • Comment: I'm not sure how figurative/misleading these hooks are allowed to be. This hook is based on a cited metaphor in one of the references.

  • That hook is just too silly and does not reveal much to the reader. A straight statement of what it is is enough, as it is not something that most people know. How about:
  • alt1 ... that the strength of light is limited by the Schwinger limit where electrons and positrons are pulled from the vacuum by the strong electric field (Feynman diagram pictured)?
  • and meanwhile the article is big and new enough. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:13, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
I think this ALT2 is what you want. It's not as silly and addresses the image more directly. By the way, User:Brews ohare created the image. Teply (talk) 07:19, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
