  • Not a review, but the original hook is ineligible because of WP:DYKFICTION. Bremps... 19:49, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Not necessarily -- DYKFICTION's applicability to secondary analysis is complex. Not sure if this one is before or after the fuzzy line, haven't looked closely enough, but if the subject of the comic is not Watergate (as the other hook and article itself imply) it's likely to pass. • Such subtext requires in-text attribution from the critics. As it stands the hook violates WP:DYKHOOKCITE (it's not a definitive fact, even if it's probably the intended subtext). I'm also not very keen about a hook that's basically one giant spoiler. Boldly striking ALT0. DigitalIceAge (talk) 21:38, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
  • This is a review:
    • Article is new enough (created on the 8th, nominated on the same day)
    • Article is long enough (9908 characters of readable prose)
    • "Violation unlikely" on Earwig
    • Article is presentable
    • "This all led to that Secret Empire storyline, which was an allegory on the Watergate scandal and the way it played out in the press.” from the WaPo source; hook is cited
    • Hook (ALT1) is interesting enough
    • One fair use image, at an appropriate resolution
    • QPQ has been done
    • No other issues
  • Pass Bremps... 15:21, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
