Sepioteuthis australis[edit]

  • ... that an egg strand of the southern reef squid, containing six to nine eggs, is most commonly sired by three different males? Source: "The most common number of sires within a single egg strand was three."
    • ALT1:... that an egg strand of the southern reef squid is most commonly sired by three different males?

  • for ALT1. One of the sources (the Australian Museum source) claims that the strand contains 2-6 eggs, so may be best not to specify. Article is long enough and expanded recently enough. Sourcing is adequate and I was able to verify the hook. Found no copyvios using Duplication Detector. QPQ done. Rlendog (talk) 01:29, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
