Shōkansai Iizuka

[edit]
  • ... that basketry artist Shōkansai Iizuka spent the first ten years of his training just learning to cut and prepare bamboo?
  • Reviewed: Jiahu
  • Comment: The source for the hook is at HighBeam Research and so isn't accessible to many editors; however the relevant text of the Boston Globe article can be seen in a Google News Archive snippet here.

  • Length, date, hook length OK. My Highbeam account has apparently expired, but snippet checks out. No paraphrasing concerns in the article text. I removed the stub assessment from the talkpage and left an explanation: this isn't a stub in any case. One concern: the hook is pretty close to the cited snippet (no concern about the article content). Acroterion (talk) 02:59, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
See your point, they are a bit similar - I hadn't noticed that. How about ALT1: "... that basketry artist Shōkansai Iizuka devoted the first decade of his training to the correct method of cutting bamboo?" Yunshui  07:05, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Alt. 1 looks fine, good to go. Acroterion (talk) 11:51, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
