Shane Larkin[edit]

Created by VictorianMutant (talk). Self nominated at 15:21, 15 February 2013 (UTC).

  • Thanks. It is now 199 characters which is not more than 200. I will continue my review.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:07, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
  • This nomination has been sitting for a while, so I'd like to help it move it along. Article is new enough, long enough, adequately-referenced. Hook is under 200 char and verified. However, citations are needed for the information I tagged in the article. I also suggest shortening the hook a little more, as follows:
  • ALT2: ... that Miami Hurricanes point guard Shane Larkin quit baseball after a Little League coach told him the tutoring he had received from Tony Perez and Pete Rose was "all wrong"?
  • Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 00:09, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Fixed cites. I have no problem with ALT2, although still prefer ALT1. VictorianMutant(Talk) 03:41, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I apologize because I forgot to continue my review. Thanks Yoninah for your help. I also prefer Alt1 if you don't mind it being borderline long?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 06:55, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Then we'll go with ALT1. Thanks for the cites, VictorianMutant. I just don't see the rankings (one of top 20 point guards, one of 72 best players) in footnote 5. Yoninah (talk) 10:55, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I think the link where I got that has gone dead. The scout.com does say 28th best PG's so I'll change the article to reflect that. So we're good to go? VictorianMutant(Talk) 22:15, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks for fixing that citation. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:08, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
