Shangguan Yunzhu

[edit]

Shangguan Yunzhu in the early 1940s

  • New enough, long enough. What year was this image published? It needs to be PD in the US too (and if it wasn't PD in China in 1996, it won't be PD in the US). Hook fact checks out. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:03, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Not sure. Most web sites that use the image only say it was from the 1940's, without specifying the exact year. If this image doesn't work out, we can use File:ShangGuan Yunzhu 3.jpg, which was taken in the early 1940s, so definitely PD in 1996. -Zanhe (talk) 08:31, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
  • That one looks acceptable (early 1940s = before 1945 = PD in 1995 or earlier = PD in US). Needs a US PD tag (PD-US-URAA if I'm not mistaken). — Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:20, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
  • I've added the PD-US-URAA tag, and swapped out the original image with uncertain publishing date. Thanks for helping me navigate the US copyright minefield! -Zanhe (talk) 18:43, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Okay, all good to go now. Image is free, article is new and long enough, QPQ is done, etc. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 22:58, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
