Siege of Almería[edit]

  • ... that at the end of the unsuccesful Siege of Almería, part of the defeated Aragonese attackers were left under protection of the Muslim defenders while waiting for their evacuation? Source: "... that last sentence reflects the logistical muddle of the arrangements for the evacuation. Not all the Castilian and Aragonese troops could be crammed onto the vessels available, and a number had to be left behind under promise of Muslim protection" (Harvey (1992) p. 179)
    • ALT1:... that ...?

  • New, long enough, well referenced, no copyvio, and the hook is interesting. The source for the hook is also good, as the quote can be found here. As soon as the QPQ is done, this is good to go. Applodion (talk) 11:58, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
