First review completed
  • Article is long enough and new enough. The hook is short enough and interesting enough. The hook fact is supported by reliable sourcing. QPQ has been completed. Spot-checking reveals no evidence or concerns with respect to copyvio or unduly close paraphrasing. Some might suggest the content could be merged into the existing article on the 1943 Gibraltar B-24 crash (perhaps also Europa Point), but the memorial itself has received coverage in both Polish and Gibraltar press, and I'm satisfied that it is worthy of a stand-alone article. Nor do I believe that this article is promotional in nature, such that it would create a COI concern. Cbl62 (talk) 17:06, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

  • I'd like to see a source for "The new design is a semi-circular structure with a diameter of 5 metres (16 ft) and a maximum height of 3 metres (9.8 ft)"> Other than that looks good to go.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 19:21, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Looks good to go, and that is my final DYK-related edit.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 19:17, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
