Source: "The church is noted for its many memorials and especially for the stained glass windows that include fragments of glass from English churches. These fragments, some of which date back to the eleventh century, were painstakingly picked up and catalogued from the rubble of churches bombed during World War II." COMMENT Intriguing article, which desperately needs some stained glass window images to make it really shine. I think "fair use" would apply here? Otherwise are there any NORTH DAKOTIANS with a camera who could take a picture of these windows and the dedications? Victuallers (talk) 11:12, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
Victuallers, "fair use" does not apply because a photo can be made - the building is still there and anyone can go and take a photo. I sent an email to the church at least a month ago and got no reply. I also tried every member of Wikipedia:WikiProject North Dakota that has been active recently (there were only four) and one (Bookworm857158367) said they did not live in Bismarck but would take a photo the next time they went there. They suggested contacting the history departments of local colleges/high schools and asking for help. I have not done that but you can give it a try. It's also in Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in North Dakota, along with 600 others. MB 05:33, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

Overall: Thank you for this article, MB and Doncram. I'm originally from Kent, and it is heartbreaking to hear of the loss of glass from our churches, although of course we must be eternally grateful to the people of Dakota for preserving some of that lost glass. What happened is very real to me. My late father, an architect, had to pick up the pieces of the bombed-out rose window of Alexandra Palace in 1947, and redesign the window to include some of the pieces. I agree with victuallers that each window and dedication needs to be properly photographed - yes, for the hook, but mainly so that the people of Kent can for the first time see the windows that they have lost.
