St Peter's Church, Henfield
[edit]- ... that when St Peter's Church (pictured) in Henfield needed a bell in the 17th century, the churchwarden stole one from St Leonard's Church in Aldrington? Source: Middleton (1979) p. 191 and Middleton (2003) vol. 12, p. 99. Full quotes are lengthy, especially the latter source, but ping me if required.
