Stele (Kurtág)[edit]

György Kurtág in 2002

Created by User:Wildbill hitchcock (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 10:32, 23 March 2015 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, adequately referenced, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done. Image is freely licensed and appears in the article. The first part of the hook is verified and cited inline, but I don't see anything about it being dedicated to Claudio Abbado in the sources. You might also want to clear up the repetition in "composed ... as composer-in-residence". Yoninah (talk) 20:04, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Reference added, - try "written, but afraid that people will rather think literally of written ...
ALT1: ... that György Kurtág (pictured) completed Stele as composer-in-residence with the Berlin Philharmonic, dedicating it to the orchestra and conductor Claudio Abbado? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:35, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the ref. How about "completed", as you wrote in the article? ALT1 hook refs verified and cited inline. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 20:47, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Ask the author ;) - I only replaced "finished" by "completed", --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:11, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • I already put a notice on his talk page about the DYK; hope he looks at this. Yoninah (talk) 21:19, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Nice, but you don't have to wait ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:21, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Sure, ALT1 seems correct. I agree with all your remarks. If there's still something left to do, tell me and I'll try to work on it. Wildbill hitchcock (talk) 21:56, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
