Stephanie Amiel[edit]

Created by Gaia Octavia Agrippa (talk). Self-nominated at 15:31, 18 October 2017 (UTC).

  • article is confirmed as new and long enough, no obvious copyvio, the hook is okay, not going to set the world on fire, but I struggled to find anything else in the reasonably sparse CV here to find anything more fascinating. Maybe we could design an ALT hook which shows just how long she's been going at diabetes research? The Rambling Man (talk) 21:53, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for the review The Rambling Man! I admit, though interesting to me, it quite hard to get a catchy hook from her career. How about:
ALT1: ... that British physician Stephanie Amiel has specialised in type I diabetes since her time at Yale University in the 1980s?
ALT2: ... that Stephanie Amiel started her research in type I diabetes at Yale University in the 1980s, but has since worked at a number of universities and hospitals in London, England?
The later one is longer but maybe having more information is better? And sometimes a longer hook is needed. I'll leave that up to you, Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 00:26, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
I actually prefer ALT1 but instead of "her time at" I'd say something like "she was a research fellow at"... Otherwise it's good to go. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:24, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
I had wanted to leave it ambiguous to make it "hooky" but perhaps it doesn't read right? Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 13:20, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
Nudge The Rambling Man. Would it be okay to leave it ambiguous? Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 21:22, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
Sorry Gaia Octavia Agrippa, I've been distracted. Yes, I suppose I'm okay with it, as I said originally, it's never going to set the world on fire, but it's okay. Apologies for forgetting to get back to you. Good to go now. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:45, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your swift action. I'd forgotten about it myself until I was looking for a QPQ to do! Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 22:01, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
