Sun Duoci[edit]

Sun Duoci

  • ... that art Professor Xu Beihong painted his student Sun Duoci (see painting), whom he regarded as a "painter of genius"?

Created by Victuallers (talk) and Zanhe. Self-nominated at 22:10, 2 April 2015 (UTC).

  • GTG. 3539 char, nominated on the day of creation. Neutrally written, no POV, in-line citations. Do not appear to be copyvios. Painting is on Commons, citation shows painting creation 1920-1940 and death date of artist 1953. Public domain in China is 50 years per citation, thus appears to be free use by both dates. Hook is well under 200 chars and verified by cited source. URL source of the painting confirms that the painting itself was the work of Xu Beihong. Verified QPQ done by Zanhe. Enjoyed learning about them. Thanks! SusunW (talk) 02:34, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
