Swiss referenda, 2012

[edit]

ALT2 ... that there were 5 national and 2 sub-national issues in a single day in Switzerland for voter approval by referenda"? Created/expanded by Nightstallion (talk), Lihaas (talk). Nominated by Lihaas (talk) at 04:33, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Date, length and hook all OK. Good to go. I think the original hook is probably the best one, I've edited it slightly to remove the redirect. The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 20:19, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
  • I'm concerned that the structure and phrasing of this article is too close to that of its sources. For some quick examples, compare "would both cost billions of francs and could lead to the relocation of big business to countries like Germany" with "would costs billions and see companies relocate to countries like Germany", or "special parking spaces that have walls between them" with "special parking spaces with walls between them", or "The measure was brought by an environmental organisation on the grounds that a construction boom in mountain resorts have caused natural resources wastage and inflated property prices" with "The environmental organisation that brought the initiative argued the construction boom in mountain resorts had led to a waste of natural resources and massively boosted property prices". • The copyright issues seem to have been taken care of but without the listed content isn't this article too short? -- Esemono (talk) 04:17, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
  • Indeed. Most of the article content is rendered as bullets. There's not enough prose left to qualify for DYK. If some of the bullets were converted to prose, it would qualify. --Orlady (talk) 03:51, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
  • OK looks like article now has 1500+ characters --Esemono (talk) 23:29, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
