Tarquin and Lucretia (Titian)

[edit]
Tarquin and Lucretia, Titian, 1571
Tarquin and Lucretia, Titian, 1571

  • Article expanded and long enough. QPQ done. Both hooks are neutral, and acceptable. I AGF with regard to sources. The pic-caption ("A man with a knife threatening a naked woman on her bed") could be improved, though. Otherwise, I think it's good to go. Huldra (talk) 20:19, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT 1 is a stronger hook. Ceoil (talk) 21:51, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
It certainly is the most informative hook, so, ALT 1 it is, (But the pic-caption still is not good) Huldra (talk) 21:55, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
Cap should simply be Tarquin and Lucretia Titian, 1571? Not the most exciting ever, but. Ceoil (talk) 22:02, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
Agree, not exciting...but encyclopaedic, I believe: that will do, Huldra (talk) 22:08, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
Sorry, trying to do an alt text. I don't know why we have these captions at DYK. Johnbod (talk) 04:21, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
I was wondering the same thing, and suspected as much. Very strong article on a major Titian; impeccable use of sources, and provides useful and accessible interpretation. Good to go, yes. Ceoil (talk) 07:35, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
