Comment. Both hooks are supported by all three radio interviews. The second is specifically cited to the Cauliflower Alley Club [1], LegacyofWrestling.com [2], and the Wrestling Observer [3]. The third hook is supported by the Houston Chronicle [4] and OnlineWorldofWrestling.com [5]. The broken link has also been fixed [6]. Can you explain why the Cauliflower Alley Club, a non-profit fraternal organization, is an unreliable source? 72.74.216.136 (talk) 18:55, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
- Being a "non-profit fraternal organization" is not rationale for a reliable source. Being listed at WP:PW/MOS would be a very good place to start. The site does not appear to have the editorial integrity expected of high-quality reliable sources. Nowhere is staff credential or editorial policy listed. It is in fact the blog site ("powered by WordPress") of an unofficial wrestling fraternity. A Custom Google search merits little to no discussion about the club from outside, reliable sources. I'm not even sure Cauliflower Alley Club would meet the WP:GNG.
- The only reliable source supporting the second hook is the Wrestling Observer. I don't think I need to explain LegacyofWrestling as per above, but I suggest you recap on WP:RS. I'm seeing potential WP:SYNTHESIS as the source doesn't mention a banquet, or that it's closed to the general public, rather that it's "invitation only", which is ambiguous. You could slightly rework the hook to be more in line with what the source says. As for the third hook, both sources are fine but neither the article nor the sources mention that Texas All-Star Wrestling is the oldest independent promotion. I added a source from the Houston Press for hook three. [7] 72.74.196.19 (talk) 18:41, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
