The Boat Race 2013[edit]

  • ALT1:... that the 2013 Boat Race featured the event's first Czech rower?
  • ALT2:... that the 2013 Boat Race was notorious for the Oxford cox's repeated swearing?
  • Comment: Can I say notourious in Alt 2? It was over here in the UK

  • You can't say "notourious" as that isn't a word (really? like I've never made a typo). Belle (talk) 11:31, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
  • Well it may intrigue the reders readers... Thanks, Matty.007 11:34, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

GA'ed within the time constraints. Neutral. QPQ done (but incomplete, so complete it or I'll bash you with a stick). QPQ not required. No copyvio, plagiarism or close-paraphrasing detected. Original hook and ALT1 check out. ALT2 is true but not cited, so I'll have to say no to that one. Passed and providing an expansion on the original hook which I think makes it more interesting:

ALT3 ... that at the 2013 Boat Race, Cambridge only had one British rower in their crew for the second consecutive year? (it should really say "second year in a row" for maximum punnage) Belle (talk) 11:53, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
