The Night We Met (Lord Huron song)

5x expanded by CAPTAIN MEDUSA (talk). Self-nominated at 06:30, 3 February 2020 (UTC).

  • Thoroughly expanded, the hook is long and concise enough and cited in the article. The only major thing I see is that it appears the QPQ still needs to be done. I see nothing preventing this from being good to go otherwise though. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 02:23, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
  • I have pulled this nomination out of Prep 4, and re-opened the nomination template. When I ran Earwig's tool, it showed a 42.5% chance of copyvio. Looking at the first item under Earwig's tool, it appears the entire lead paragraph of this article is word-for-word identical to a 2018 mention in lyrics.com. The copyvio was not created by any of you, but dates back to the first edit that coverted this from a redirect May 29, 2018. I think it would be advisable to check all of the article for any other potential copyvio issues.— Maile (talk) 21:00, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
  • That this is here, I think the hook reads a bit off - the qualifier on the qualifier is awkward though not wrong. But the "nearly after two years of its initial release" is likely incorrect. I suggest:
or some similar permutation thereof (with necessary corrections, if any). Regards! Usedtobecool ☎️ 03:35, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
  • My bad, somehow missed the grammar at the end of the original hook. Either of the ALTs looks good to me. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 13:39, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Returning this to prep, after my pull from prep yesterday. Issue was resolved. — Maile (talk)
