The Northern Messenger

  • ... that The Northern Messenger was a weekly radio programme broadcast to the Canadian Arctic with personal messages for RCMP officers, missionaries, trappers, doctors, nurses, and scientists as well as Cree and Inuit from their friends and relatives around the world?
    • ALT1:... that The Northern Messenger was a weekly radio show that read out personal messages from around the world to friends and family in the Arctic who couldn't be reached by any other way during the winter?[1]

  • The article itself appears to be adequately-sourced and does not have any instances of copyright violation. QPQ is not needed as this is your first nomination at DYK. The hook provided is interesting, though it's a bit too long. It needs to be under 201 characters per DYK rules. Also a source should be provided alongside each hook so it can be verified. ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 02:58, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
I've shortened it and added a source. Sowny (talk) 11:16, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
Great, this gets my approval after your changes. Next time when you add a revised hook, just leave the original one in place and add the new one as an alternative so other editors down the line can see the whole review process more easily. Nice work! ⑉⑉Mccunicano☕️ 11:42, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
