Uncle Henry's Playhouse[edit]

Created/expanded by Thibbs (talk). Self nom at 17:59, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Article has sections that are not completely sourced. The article needs to be completely sourced before it becomes a DYK.
  • Expansion checks out: Prose size (text only): 5210 characters (872 words) "readable prose size", Assuming article is at 5x now, expansion began 16 edits ago on January 2, 2012. Image has fair use rationale. Article reads as mostly neutral and I don't see any excessive cheerleading or put downs for it. Ran sources through duplication detector and did not see any concerns. Hook checks out with sources verifying the fact. The fact is reasonably interesting and neutral.
  • Some of the sourced bits do not appear to be supported by the text. There is a source to this but it does not say this is the code used for the game in question. This source isn't used elsewhere in the article either, just in the info box. Infobox says uses Win95 but this important information is not found in the body of the article.

  • Thanks for the review! I've removed the game engine info since it is non-essential info for a video game article and indeed the source didn't cover the claim. I also inserted the platform info into the main body of the article.
  • I'm unclear on which sections are not completely sourced. The lede doesn't have any sources which I think is fine according to WP:LEADCITE but sources for the claims could easily be added if this is required since the lede is really just a summary. The plot is also a bit sparsely sourced, but the game's manual really covers the whole plot. I was using one source for several sentences in the plot portion. -Thibbs (talk) 00:23, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Unsourced statements: "however the underlying concept of the 12 main puzzles are all reused from previous games." "Although all puzzles are accessible from the outset, the new 13th puzzle is only accessible after all 12 of the other puzzles have been overcome." "would be responsible for integrating the older puzzles into a cohesive whole." "The game has been re-released once as part of Encore's puzzle collection, Puzzle Madness." Those need sources or to be removed. If removed, article still needs to meet length requirements. --LauraHale (talk) 00:28, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
  • I've reffed all of these claims now from sources that were available lower in the article. Should be much clearer hopefully. Thanks for the help. -Thibbs (talk) 00:56, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Things look good to go now. Concerns have been addressed. Article still has length. Not perfect (cites in infobox are less than ideal but meh.) but meets DYK criteria. --LauraHale (talk) 01:42, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks again. Which hook sounds better? The original suggestion or ALT1? -Thibbs (talk) 02:47, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
