Withdrawn by nominator; not ready for DYK at the present time.

Vercors Massif[edit]

  • ... that ....?

5x expanded by Gilderien (talk). Self nominated at 23:00, 23 July 2014 (UTC). Review:Template:Did_you_know_nominations/Sulu_Bleeding-heart

  • I am in the process of translating this from the article on fr.wiki. I request discretion to delay the DYK until it is "finished".--Gilderien Berate|List of good deeds 23:13, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
  • Gilderien, it's been nearly three weeks since you nominated this, and just about ten days since your last edit. The expansion started on July 18, which would normally mean nominating by July 25 (seven days now, not five). Discretion is stretching awfully far, especially without active work. When do you anticipate getting the article into sufficient shape that the templates can be removed? (It certainly can't run as a DYK while they remain.) If this is going to take a long time, perhaps going the GA route might be best. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:36, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
  • If the partly completed article is "complete enough" for DYK, then I am happy for it to run whenever.--Gilderien Chat|List of good deeds 22:49, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Unfortunately, it is clearly not ready for DYK in its current state. The list of issues in the template at the top of the article is clear indication of this, and that doesn't count the expansion template. The rule of thumb for DYK is that the article body has one inline source citation per paragraph; at the moment, the article only has a single source citation, and it's a bare URL (another no-no). You also don't have a hook yet for this nomination. Please do let me know your plans. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:10, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
  • It would be possible for me to remove the problems by this time tomorrow, but I think would it be better if the page was removed from the queue, put on hold and re-activated when it passes GA?--Gilderien Chat|List of good deeds 02:28, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Actually, the process would be to close this and to open a new nomination once it becomes a GA, as that's likely to be quite some time from now. I'm doing so now. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:37, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
