Vicky Holland[edit]

  • Reviewed: Connor Jaeger
  • Comment: Should be saved for use during the Olympics

  • Suggestion: Put this nomination into the holding area for a specific date/time? Aaron You Da One 19:06, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
It can't go to the holding area until it's been reviewed - Basement12 (T.C) 19:28, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh okay. I'll review it. Article is recently created, is of the required length for hook and prose. Hook is well cited and referenced. Hold for the 2012 Olympics. Aaron You Da One 19:39, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Please don't use "will compete..." on MainPage. That's crystal-balling. "Will" should be saved for things like the sun rising from the east tomorrow morning. An illness, injury or travel delays may prevent Vicky from competing. How about ALT1: ... that Vicky Holland, a British competitor who has qualified for triathlon at the 2012 Summer Olympics, only took up the sport in her second year of university? --PFHLai (talk) 21:10, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
See my comment at Template:Did you know nominations/Derek Derenalagi. Same applies here - Basement12 (T.C) 23:01, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
It's better to have a worry-free hook. When new info becomes available, we may or may not be lucky enough to have the time to fix things up. --PFHLai (talk) 05:55, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
