... that Władysław Umiński (pictured) has been called "Polish Jules Verne"? Source: see footnotes in body, Polish-language books with snippet view on Google Books, hard to link directly I fear. One of the cited works has a copyvio reproduction with this claim here.

MtBotany, you missed the fact that I've done QPQ as noted in the nom (see "reviewed"). I have no opinion about not using the image. Piotrus, Thanks for the gentle correction. I'm having to get used to the QPQ since I've used three of my five and I needed to start sooner rather than later. Also thanks for the pointers about correct method to follow.
