Size and date OK (inter-wiki translations permitted). I'm somewhat concerned about the referencing, especially as the original German author has few other contributions to speak of. Sourcing requirements have somewhat changed in the last five years. Although I appreciate your additional references, I would suggest that next time you should check and source the material when translating (or reduce the article to what you can reference).
Still, there is nothing unusual in the article that would merit removal. Would you be able to get a source for the concert's costs? I think a hook like "... that Wendelin Weißheimer organized a concert to relieve Richard Wagner's financial problems, but lost money due to low attendance?" would be much more interesting (and humorous!). • Comment:Thanks for reviewing this entry. The info about "the revenues collected for the concert" has been duely referenced, and your wise suggestion does come in handy too. Could you please insert the line: "but lost money due to low attendance" in the entry for this DYK so we can share the credits ?! Krenakarore (talk) 11:40, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
this article still has large segments with no inline references. Also needs substantial copyediting by an english speaker. I've done some but some sentences could still benefit from some massaging. Is an interesting read though.Casliber (talk · contribs) 04:46, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
  • Comment: I thank you for making the article sound better Admin. Casliber. Indeed, there are large segments without inline citation, and there's even less in the German Wikipedia, but I can't simply find them. I've tried the best I could. It seems to me that the article was created directly from Wendelin's book, but you know, that's also a statement which I can't reference....:) ! Krenakarore (talk) 06:46, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
  • Should be one reference per paragraph... seems to be rather difficult, I know. Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:01, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
  • As it has been in mainspace for three weeks and there are still major issues that would need to be addressed I am rejecting the nomination. SmartSE (talk) 21:12, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
