Wesley P. Lloyd[edit]

Created by Amgisseman(BYU) (talk). Self-nominated at 19:43, 7 June 2016 (UTC).

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The image is suitably licensed, the article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. The original hook facts are not borne out by reference 4, and ALT1 does not provide inline citations for its hook facts. A DYK requirement is that there must be an inline citation for the actual sentence containing the fact(s) not just one at the end of the paragraph. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:13, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
  • Cwmhiraeth Thank you for your review. However, reference 4 does support the hook. The article states: "Elder Roberts spoke with Wesley P. Lloyd, one of his former missionaries in the Eastern States Mission." The article also states that Roberts was the president of the mission; therefore, Lloyd would have served a mission under B.H. Roberts. I can reword both the hook and the article if you think it is necessary. I did realize that I did not include the URL to the following sentence that includes the year he served, so I added that in. Both facts are supported. I do agree that there were no citations for ALT1, and I have added them in.Amgisseman(BYU) (talk) 19:14, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
  • Thank you! Either hook could be used as both now have inline citations. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:23, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
