Whaling in the Philippines[edit]

  • ... that despite the ban on whaling in the Philippines, it is believed that the whaling industry in the Philippines went underground?

  • Creation date verified, sufficient amount of references. The hook is illogical, if there wasn't a ban the whaling industry would probably never have gone underground. So 'because' instead of 'despite', if that's supported by the references, or some formulation that whaling is still being conducted. Article size is also a bit of an issue: There are 1709 characters, but the excessive use of "in the Philippines" (8x, also redundant in the hook) and "Philipines" (3x) should be copyedited and could bring the article below 1500. --Pgallert (talk) 10:59, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
