  • Comment: April Fool potential! Strictly speaking the first hook is the more accurate, because Bill invented it but only did the actual driving occasionally. Facts are almost all in offline sources, but I have all the source material to hand. Ref [11] is the main one supporting the fact it's a converted dustcart, and the online source (Victoria County History of Sussex; ref [1]) is one of several to mention he specifically designed it with Worthing's elderly population in mind.

  • Comment: I think ALT1 would be better worded as DYK
  • I have numbered SounderBruce's hook as ALT1b and any of the proposed hooks could be used. This article is new enough and long enough. The image is appropriately licensed, the hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I don't believe there are any copyright issues (Earwig is down). A QPQ has been done. For April 1st? I prefer the original hook, not because I think the wording is necessarily better but because the lack of a link for Bill Gates in the other hooks is kind of a giveaway that it isn't that Bill Gates. Gatoclass (talk) 06:28, 27 March 2019 (UTC).
