Yanaimalai

[edit]
  • ... that Yanaimalai (elephant hill) got the name because it looks like an elephant in lying position and has had the name for over 2000 years?

  • Article is new, well cited, above 1500 chars, hook is nice and interesting, over all seems good to go. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 16:56, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
  • I removed this from the queue because the hook is not based on the source, and the whole article is full of typos and grammatical problems. The article needs a thorough copyedit for English grammar. Here is a proposed alt:
  • ALT1: ... that India's Yanaimalai (Elephant Hill) got its name because it looks like an elephant sitting down? Yoninah (talk) 21:15, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
  • I checked the second ref which mentions sitting and not lying down, all that is required is for lying down to be replaced with sitting down. As for the typos, there are very few. I've copy edited the article. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 07:41, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
  • I did a thorough copyedit on the article and also wikified the presentation. I checked the sources for close paraphrasing and didn't find any. Calling for a new reviewer to consider ALT1. Yoninah (talk) 11:34, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
  • The ALT1 hook is in the article and is verified by the cited source. Article is long enough, new enough, adequately footnoted, and appears to be free of copyvio concerns. Thanks to Yoninah for copyediting. --Orlady (talk) 21:01, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
