Yes/No[edit]

  • ALT1:... that "the most spectacular [marriage] proposal I've ever seen" will be made in the upcoming "Yes/No" episode of Glee?

  • Comment: undecided between "is being made" or "will be made" in initial and ALT1 hooks and happy to go with either one
  • I'm not fond of the present tense for this purpose, and it's a claim I'm not comfortable making. If you don't like "in an upcoming episode of", which I do think adds clarity that this is going to appear on a television show—not everyone will know this, though that may be part of your reason for making the change—then at the very least the wording should be "is being made on". Thoughts? BlueMoonset (talk) 03:48, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
  • How about now? Rcej (Robert)talk 04:02, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
  • I like the newly updated ALT2's "will occur on" wording and the addition of January 2012. Thank you! (I've struck out all the other hooks, so ALT2 is all that remains.) BlueMoonset (talk) 01:55, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

  • Going with ALT2 hook. Hook verified online, article ready, 5x expansion confirmed by DYKcheck! Rcej (Robert)talk 06:28, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Pls use "is scheduled to..." rather than "will..." Knock on wood, but a careless technician getting the tapes mixed up may get the show aired this month by mistake, or a court order for whatever reason may postpone the broadcast. "Will..." should only be used in hooks for more certain things such as an upcoming solar eclipse. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 18:57, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
ALT2 edited to make the above emendation. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:40, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
