- QPQ done. Adequately referenced. Article is long enough and new enough and spot checks reveal no copyvios. Valenciano (talk) 14:48, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, the hook is not very hooky for an international audience. What do you think about:
- ALT1:
... that though Indian communist politician Z.A. Ahmed declined a request to move to Pakistan, he was forced to move there to escape an arrest warrant?Yoninah (talk) 23:24, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- Hm, I'm not fully convinced with ALT1. First of all, there needs to be a clarification that it was his own party that requested, not the Pakistani authorities. Also, it is questionable whether the arrest warrant forced him to move there. --Soman (talk) 02:29, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

- @Soman: would you like to suggest a new hook? Other than ALT1, I don't see much that's hooky here. Yoninah (talk) 23:06, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- ALT2: ... that Indian communist politician Z.A. Ahmed sought refugee in Pakistan, as he faced an arrest warrant in India and pressure from within his party? --Soman (talk) 12:44, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, that works! Offline hook ref AGF and cited inline. You may also want to phrase it this way:
- ALT2a: ... that facing an arrest warrant in India and pressure from within his party, Indian communist politician Z.A. Ahmed sought refugee in Pakistan?
- ALT2 good to go. Rest of review per Valenciano. Yoninah (talk) 17:57, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
