@Couiros22: It's a great hook, but no expansion has occurred on this article so it's not eligible for DYK. To qualify, articles need to be completely new, be expanded to five times their initial size, or have recently been promoted to Good Article status. In addition, the article could use improved referencing; one reference at the end of each paragraph is generally considered the minimum acceptable, and since the hook fact is a scientific claim, it's best to reference the peer-reviewed journal article in addition to the popular article.
