Usage

This template inserts the currently accepted height of the summit of Mont Blanc into all articles that use it. Heights are given in both metres and feet, with the latter abbreviated.

The height of Mont Blanc varies because it is snows-capped, and is now re-measured every two years and its official height publicised. This renders the once accepted height of 4,807 metres redundant. As at September 2015 the height is officially 4,808.73 metres (15,776.7 feet), and is due to be reassessed in 2017.
