Template:MedcabStatus/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The header template for MedCab cases. The 'status' parameter is used by bots to update the active mediation lists on the MedCab age, and cases are categorized according to its value.

This template is called from the main mediation template at {{MedcabTemplate}}, and should not generally be called directly.

Usage

[edit]

This template uses the following parameters:

  • article - The name of the main article under discussion; this should be the same as the name of the page. Use only one article. If there are multiple articles concerned, list them in the "Where is the Dispute" section.
  • status - new/open/closed.
  • date - date the case is opened.
  • requester - editor who opened the case.
  • parties - involved parties.
  • mediators - active mediator on case
  • comment - comments by mediator, usually with respect to case closure.
  • external discussion - if discussion is being held elsewhere, the link to where it is being held. Do not include brackets, the template will link automatically.

Nota bene* Do not use links in the article name - use plain text only. The template will link automatically, and adding links will (currently) cause problems. To be fixed ASAP.
