Template:Rfc demote note/doc

This template may be used to supply a section hatnote to the top of a former-Rfc discussion, when the Rfc header is removed.

Usage

{{rfc demote|rfcid=hexcode|suffix=any text}}
{{rfc demote|hexcode|any text}}

Parameters

• |rfcid= – this is required, and must have the same value as rfcid added by Legobot. Alias: unnamed parameter 1.
• |suffix= – optional text to append to the basic demotion hatnote. Alias: unnamed parameter 2.

Parameter usage note: use either only named parameters (rfcid, suffix) or only unnamed; do not mix them.

   Demoted from Rfc.
2. {{rfc demote|rfcid=D4F07A|suffix=per Talk}} →
   Demoted from Rfc per Talk.
3. {{rfc demote|9FA0FA|per Talk}} →
   Demoted from Rfc per Talk.
4. {{rfc demote|23DC18|; per Talk}} →
   Demoted from Rfc; per Talk.
5. {{rfc demote|rfcid=499A9B|suffix=: withdrawn by OP}} →
   Demoted from Rfc: withdrawn by OP.
