Template:VRT backlog/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The permissions-en queue at VRTS currently has a backlog of 0 days. Please consider this backlog before deleting an image tagged with {{Permission pending}}. (Note that if an image has been tagged as {{Permission pending}} longer than the greater of 30 or 7 (0 + 7) days, a bot will automatically tag it with {{subst:npd}}. It is not necessary for a human to manually tag these images.)

Usage[edit]

This template is used to incorporate the current backlog of the permissions-en queue into a notice of informational page. To add this value to a page, use:

{{VRT backlog}}

This template should be used inline in a sentence and will currently produce the number 0.

Please note the following:

  • This backlog does NOT mean that all messages over 0 days have been responded to and that all messages under 0 days are still awaiting a reply. Some messages might have been addressed out-of-sequence and there might be some complicated requests longer than 0 days that are still awaiting a reply.
  • This template only refers to the permissions-en queue. The permissions-commons queue has a separate template at Commons:Volunteer Response Team/backlog.
