Template:WikiProject Qatar/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

The {{WikiProject Qatar}} template should be added to talk pages of all Qatar related articles. To add an article to the list, simply add the following code to the talk page of the article and give values to the parameters described below:

{{WikiProject Qatar
 |class=
 |importance=
 |listas=
}}

General parameters

[edit]
  • class – Article's current rating. If blank, this will default as Unassessed. NA means "not applicable". Descriptions of the options can be found at Category:Qatar articles by quality.
    • FA
    • A
    • GA
    • B
    • Start
    • Stub
    • Dab
    • Template
    • Cat
    • List
    • Image
    • NA
  • importance – An assessment of the article's importance for the project. If blank, this will default as Unknown priority. NA means "not applicable". This is the importance within Qatar, see Category:Qatar articles by importance for further description.
    • Top
    • High
    • Mid
    • Low
    • NA
  • listas – This parameter, which is the equivalent of the DEFAULTSORT sortkey that should be placed on all biographical articles, is a sortkey for the article talk page (e.g. for Mubarak Dahi, use |listas=Dahi, Mubarak so that the talk page will show up in the D's and not the M's of the various assessment and administrative categories). This is important because it is one source used by those who set DEFAULTSORT on the article; consider also setting the DEFAULTSORT for the article when setting this parameter. For more information about this, please see Wikipedia:Categorization of people § Ordering names in a category.
    If the article is using {{WikiProject banner shell}} then it is preferable to add |listas= to that template instead of a project banner template. Putting the parameter on more than one template is not required.

Example

[edit]
{{WikiProject Qatar|class=Start|importance=Mid|listas=Dahi, Mubarak}}

or

{{WikiProject Qatar
 |class=Start
 |importance=Mid
 |listas=Dahi, Mubarak
}}
