I've noticed that most of the respective pages on these figures are named after their Pali equivalents. Would it be unreasonable to change them to their corresponding Sanskrit names? I believe this would benefit the Buddhism portal overall, as Sanskrit seems to be more common than Pali.

Since these is the list of the 28 Buddhas of the Theravadan tradition (see Buddhahood#The_last_28_Buddhas_of_Theravāda_(aṭavīsi_Buddha), it makes more sense to me to have them all in Pali since that is the original language in which the Theravadan scripts were recorded. The individual articles for each Buddha will (once they are completed) provide the Sanskrit equivalent. Taraathan (talk) 10:23, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
