Remaining months?[edit]

Why would we want to express an age in full years and remaining months? Wouldn't full years and full months make more sense? I can think of times when you'd want to say "he accomplished the feat at age 21, 2 months before his 22nd birthday", but that's kinda clunky and not as common as wanting to say instead "at age 21 years, 10 months". Can this template be changed, or a new one created, so that the months value is calculated as 12 minus the current result? Erielhonan 19:29, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
