Deletion[edit]

This should be deleted. Isn't this the same as Users on Wikibreak and Users Partially Active? --Osbus 01:43, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, what's the point of this? GfloresTalk 05:42, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm putting this up for Tfd.--Osbus 14:53, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't "vacation" an American term anyway? Elsewhere in the world, "holiday" is the term used. And, "wikibreak" is universal. --Aude (talk | contribs) 15:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I didn't think of that, but that adds to why this template should be deleted. --Osbus 15:37, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
On the other hand, I noticed the template on your user page. Maybe some people want to give more of a reason why they are on Wikibreak. On Wikipedia:Wikiholiday there are a few different templates. Maybe there should be one for people on "holiday" or "vacation" - regardless of the term preferred. --Aude (talk | contribs) 15:40, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've standardized this template with the other wikibreak templates. Seeing the other variations, I see no reason why we can't have this one. --Aude (talk | contribs) 15:49, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TfD nomination of Template:Awayuser[edit]

Template:Awayuser has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you.

Optional parameter[edit]

I've changed the wording to just "vacation" - which is a default parameter that can be changed to something else (e.g. "holiday):

{{Awayuser|holiday}}
Which changes the message to "This user is currently on holiday from Wikipedia."
