Permission[edit]

@RHaworth: what exactly is this permission, is it compatible with our licensing requirements, and where is evidence for this permission? – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 20:20, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I hope you saw the dates. I have no idea what the answers are to your questions. As you can see from these edits all I did was to create a template to replace text repeated in multiple articles. It is the words of Kcordina (talk · contribs). They probably will not notice a talk page message but might respond to email. But I see the name of Apcbg (talk · contribs) on my talk page. They are still active and may respond to this ping. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:26, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • At least some of the information on the website is under CC-BY-SA 3.0, at least now. The wording is sloppy as best, and in all likelihood violates the terms (as far as I know, you need to state the license, not just allude to a permission). – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 22:19, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • If you believe that this template serves no useful purpose then I wouldn't mind deleting it, and then the corresponding dead link would have to be removed from a large number of articles (probably by a bot but that's not my field). Best, Apcbg (talk) 17:58, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
