Untitled[edit]

By way of explanation, my original intention for coverage of this campaign was to have separate articles for Labuan, Brunei and North Borneo because they were all separate political entities. I have now merged the Brunei and Labuan entries as "Oboe Six" because they were part of the same amphibious operation, they involved one Japanese brigade and Labuan was the only place where there was significant action.

I think the campaign in North Borneo proper, although it followed from the landings in Brunei, should remain separate because NB was separate politically, and different Japanese units were involved from those in Labuan. Comments welcome. Grant | Talk 08:20, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
