I prefer the smaller, more compact format to the larger one. I think it looks better and more attractive on the page, and it conveys the same information. I've made several fixes from the last version.

  • 1. Omission of Middlesbrough has been corrected. I was trying to restore a very old edit, and some errors from there crept in.
  • 2. Link consistancy. All the links are now standard format.
  • 3. Links are now properly alphabetised.
  • 4. Archdioceses have been moved to the front with suffragans following.
The smaller version looks too compact and messy, also it isn't in following with any of the other religious templates. Look at this one for example; Template:Anglican dioceses in UK this is in the general standard. It also didn't it have the correct Wikilink functions such as links to edit it at the top.
Again, despite users such as User:Deacon of Pndapetzim making you aware of this before, these are NOT just "Roman" Catholic diocese; Apostolic Exarchate for Ukrainians in Great Britain is not "Roman" Catholic but is in full communion with the CC. Please understand this. Thanks. - Yorkshirian (talk) 12:02, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It matches precisely Template:Catholic Church in Ireland Dioceses and Template:Roman Catholic dioceses in Scotland. Why should the Catholic church emulate the Anglicans?

Good point. I will edit my template to have the VDE functions. Thank you.

They are a part of the Roman Catholic church in England and Wales, are they not? Same with the Bishopric of the Forces.

Province of Southwark

[edit]

Province of Southwark, with its three dioceses, seems to be missing from the template. Or do they have some special status?/Coffeeshivers (talk) 21:06, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A problem with the template groupings, two groups had the same number so one was not displaying. I have fixed the problem. Keith D (talk) 23:13, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
