book titles in italics[edit]

Shouldn't all the book titles be in italics, even if they're collections of short stories? Also, how would you feel about making the third section "Criticism" and including Morning Yet on Creation Day and Hopes and Impediments, two of the most-frequently cited? – Scartol · Talk 15:46, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm... I didn't really think about this when I created it. So what's the rule? Individual short stories like "Civil Peace" should be in quotes, but the collections in book form like Girls at War and Other Stories in Italics? I guess it should really be "An Image of Africa: Racism in Conrad's 'Heart of Darkness'" as well. As for other criticism (would it be clear its criticism by Achebe and not criticism of him?) my rule of thumb with redlinks is that I include them if I think there should be an article on the topic. I don't know much about those pieces, so I can't really say whether they rise to that level. --JayHenry 16:24, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The template is works by so if "other" criticism was include, then it should be very clearly marked as by others, preferably not included. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:24, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Book titles I believe are italicized. However Short stories are not and are bracketed by quote marks. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 08:24, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
