Hook

Article

Comments/discussion:

  • Hook is good. Article and hook are based on reliable sources. I presume that Heritage Aspen's walking tour guide is a reliable source for facts/history on this property. I have checked for close paraphrasing and copyvio and found none. Length of article is fine. Article is well-written. Date of creation checks out. The article is supported by reliable sources. The image was taken by Daniel and has an appropriate license. The sources cited in the article don't establish that Bayer was a Bauhaus architect, but that's established in the linked article on Bayer. My only minor suggestion is grammatical. I think the hook should be modified to read "after being the home of the eighth governor ..." Or maybe more cleanly "... that the Davis Waite House (pictured) in Aspen was home to the eighth governor of Colorado, a Bauhaus architect and an oil company executive?"
