Hook

Length, format, content rules – Length of hook is under 200 characters, but at around 190 I would suggest giving a shorter alternative in case that is needed. Format is fine. I would suggest that the book title be checked for capitalization (is it left uncapitalized because the title has been translated?), and linking is reduced - you don't need to link to the planned destruction of Warsaw article (which is an easter egg link) and the Robinson Crusoe of Warsaw link. Links to World War II and comic book are probably not needed either. Suggest: "... that Wacław Gluth-Nowowiejski's World War II memoir The Commonwealth of Ruins, about his experience of hiding in the ruins of Warsaw following its destruction, was adapted into a comic book?" If the admin loading this hook needs to shorten it, suggest dropping the name of the book. Also, I think it should be "adapted" (as in 'adaptation') rather than "adopted" (as in 'adoption').
Source – The source gives "Rzeczpospolita gruzów (scenariusz: Gluth-Nowowiejski - 1979 - "Relax")" in a list of what is presumably works by Jerzy Wróblewski (the page title is his name), so the source for the cited hook appears to be OK. Some AGF here, as I haven't checked with a machine translation of the Polish. Slight inconsistency in wording, as the Wikipedia article says "short comic" while the hook says "comic book" (which sounds like a long comic to me).
Interest – hook is interesting.

Length – Around 2380 characters, so it is long enough.
Vintage – Created on 2nd August and submitted within 5 days and the major editing took place within those 5 days.
Sourcing (V, RS, BLP) – The sources look to be reliable for what they are being used to reference. Couple of spot-checks carried out for verifiability and they were fine. Appears to meet BLP standards.
Neutrality – Looks fine, as most of the article is dry and factual. Possibly need to double-check the bit referring to a show trial (found this in one of the sources, so that is OK).
Plagiarism/close paraphrasing – Unable to properly review this, as most of the sources are in Polish. Most of the Wikipedia article consists of statements of facts, so should be OK, but ideally someone able to review the Polish sources would check that no extensive copying or close paraphrasing of wording is present. I did check the English-language sources, and those check out OK.
copyvio (files) – One file used: File:Destroyed Warsaw, capital of Poland, January 1945.jpg. Hosted on Commons where it was uploaded in June 2007. From what I can tell, the licensing tag looks OK.
Obvious faults in prose, structure, formatting – no obvious faults. Possible error with 'adoption' versus 'adaptation' (see above).
