@SL93: Is there a reason you promoted without the image? Sculptures are visual artwork, so having a visual element for the DYK would be nice, and the image seems a lot more compelling than e.g. a rather unexceptional Finnish railroad station. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 03:45, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- Sdkb Yes. People are significantly blocking the subject per my edit summary. While you may feel that the Finnish railroad station is unexceptional, the subject can be viewed just fine. You can bring it up on the DYK talk page if you still have an issue. I think that the image is terrible for the main page. SL93 (talk) 03:49, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
- SL93, the people help show the work in its environment and provide a sense of scale. We don't have a ton of images of the sculpture to choose from, but it seems fine to me. Given your rather hostile edit summary here and expectation that I would somehow have been monitoring the queue page to see the summary you left there, I am not inclined to engage further with you. - Sdkb Your first sentence was uncivil. My edit summary was not hostile because it is a fact that I did it with a reason. I will not undo my reinstatement because I did nothing wrong due to the long-standing fact that promoters have always had the ability to deny whatever images they want. - sdkb No. I never intended to be hostile and I am confused as to why you think so. I never assumed that you looked at my edit summary and I was trying to state that you could look there for a reference. I am doing nothing different than any other promoter. I see plenty of images that I think are great not being chosen, including my own choices, but I don't become angry at the promoter for doing what has always been their role. I have no idea why you think that me wanting to gain consensus on the talk page, due to there being plenty of time until the set goes live, makes it so that I want to battle you.
