Maile66, I'm wondering why you picked the particular image, given that it's not fantastic quality by any description. How about this one instead, which is c. 1882? Schwede66 19:23, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Schwede66 and KAVEBEAR: Bottom line ... this article is at FAC and just spent a week of intense image review. The one you suggest would never pass that review, so we can't put in the article just for DYK. No known author. No exact date of when it was first published. Hawaii archives doesn't keep the kind of details that would tell us that. I picked the image for the DYK because the patina look gives it a nice antique look and is appropriate for the time frame of the subject. — Maile (talk) 19:33, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
